Resource Links

These are some favorite links (we try to add at least few for each of various catagories) to popular locations or experiences that we and our clients have found handy to refer to for idea generators or quick reference:

  • Casinos - The most popular three casinos in this region are found on Indian Reservations.  The three Native American casinos that clients request limos to most are these, in order of popularity:
  1. Snoqualmie Casino (www.SnoCasino.com) on the Snoqualmie Indian Reservation. Tribal information at www.SnoqualmieNation.com
  2. Tulalip Casino Resort (www.TulalipCasino.com) with information about the Tulalip Tribes, visit www.TulalipTribes-nsn.gov
  3. Muckleshoot Indian Casino (www.MuckleshootCasino.com) opened in 1995. For more on the tribe, see www.muckleshoot.nsn.us
  • Stadiums -  These are all very popular locations for various larger venues beyond sporting events:
    • Safeco Field … a beautiful and modern field for the hosting of many amazing events such as our Seattle Mariners (http://seattle.mariners.mlb.com/) Major League Baseball (MLB) games.
    • Qwest Field … (www.qwestfield.com) home to our Seattle Seahawks (www.seahawks.com) of the National Football League (NFL) … also home to our Seattle Sounders Football Club (www.soundersfc.com), still more commonly called “soccer” here, and another major attraction … and there are many more spectacular events such as concerts, due to the stadium’s high-tech facilities.
    • KeyArena … (www.seattlecenter.com) is home to our Seattle Storm women’s basketball team (www.wnba.com/storm/) of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) who went to championship title after only four years in existence. Between Storm basketball events, KeyArena is the place for major musical concerts, boxing, wrestling, figure skating, gymnastics, hockey, tennis and more.
    • Husky Stadium at University of Washington campus (www.gohuskies.com) has annually been voted the most scenic football structure in the nation (USA), as a huge sports nest at the shore of Union Bay in Lake Washington … the north upper deck hold expansive views far beyond Seattle’s downtown; you can also see Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountain Range.  Husky Stadium is home to many UW teams and events, most famously, the Huskies football team, often simply called the “Dawgs”.

  • Dinner Theater - Ok, one idea is all I have at the moment for this catagory, as I've enjoyed this show several times...
    • Teatro ZinZanni (www.teatrozinzanni.com) for those who desire to get all dressed up with someplace to go;  What is the Teatro ZinZanni about?  Let me borrow a quote.  “An ever-evolving and constantly changing production, Teatro ZinZanni combines improv comedy, vaudeville revue, music, dance, cirque and sensuality into a dizzying and colorful new form that is never quite the same from evening to evening. The fast-paced action of the show unfolds above, around and even alongside the audience as they dine on a gourmet meal.”   May I add that this diner is best served with about 6 or 8 very good friends!
      • Concerts -
        • White River Amphitheatre (www.whiteriverconcerts.com) one concert site that is increasing in popularity, in spite of its off-the-beaten-track location, is a Live Nation managed concert venue (www.livenation.com/venue/white-river-amphitheatre-tickets) on the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation near Auburn, Washington, USA.
        • Seattle Opera House (www.seattleopera.org) performs five operas per year. Seattle Opera is a leading American opera company since it was founded in 1963 ... presenting classics of the European repertoire and newer works of American opera.
        • There are so many other concert locations within the state that you may wish to visit the Seattle Weekly site for their Calendar of Events (www.seattleweekly.com/events/search/); and also visit...
        • Experience Washington tourism site Events page (www.experiencewa.com/experience-washington/events.aspx).  Those are just two of so many places to find your favorite Music, Theater, Sports, and so many other spectacular events.
          • Movie Preview Online Sites (Movie Trailers) – Be sure to check these out if taking a loved one or group to a movie location...

              • Internet Movie DataBase - www.IMDB.com  - A great place to learn more about a particular movie, old or new.
              •

      • Cinema Locations -  a movie outing may not seem spectacular enough for some, but with a fun group and a great leader, this can be a lot of fun beyond simply saving fuel and tire wear, by “carpooling at the next level”...
        • Theater Guide -
        •

      • Popular Birthday Diner Party Locations ... for special occasion such as a birthday, it is nice to be somewhere that is used to louder crowds...

      • Major Mass Transit Hubs -
        • SeaTac International Airport arrivals and departures … having your driver safely pick up or drop off a friend, relative, or associate from an airport, especially during your valued sleep time or while you are scheduled for a presentation at the office can be fantastic … however, it could also allow you the option of a more personal and heartfelt visit those last few precious minutes.

        • AmTrak (www.amtrakcascades.com) 303 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA‎ - (206) 832-4125‎ ... trains are becoming a novel way of seeing a bit more of what is between here and there at ground level … Perhaps you can see a bit more of what is around you if you are a passenger rather than the driver, whether going to the station yourself, or accompanying a friend, relative, or associate?

Talgo Series VI – Amtrak Cascades® Service.  Talgo says the the key fortheir success has been the design of the trains, including the many amenities available, such a individual electric outlets for laptoin being awarded contracts has been, wheelchair lifts on ADA cars, individual audio-video outlets; the quality of the ride, reliability and application of Talgo's integral maintenance system.
          • Santa Train () Snoqualmie Station, 38625 SE King St, Snoqualmie, WA  (425) 888-2206
          • Greyhound Buslines (?)
          • King County Metro Transit (http://transit.metrokc.gov/) has their main hub at King Street Center, 201 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98104, Phone (206) 553-3000 ... More than 1.7 million area residents use this public transit agency which has twice been honored as the best-run large public transportation system in North America.
          • Sound Transit Light Rail (www.soundtransit.org/401 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98104-2826, Phone (206) 398-5000 ... Sound Transit was created by the state legislature to build a mass transit system that connects major regional job and housing centers in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties with other mass transit hubs.
          • Seattle Center Monorail (www.seattlemonorail.com/) and sadly, it still only travels about 1 mile (no further than it did when I first rode it in 1962). It takes two minutes to travel the short route to downtown Seattle before returning to the Center. However, it is still an experience, as this monorail is the nation's first full-scale commercial monorail system. At the time of this writing (2009), the Daily Hours of Operation: 9:00am to 11:00pm seven days a week with departures every 10 minutes from the two stations:
            • Seattle Center station, across from the Space Needle
            • Westlake Center Mall station, at Fifth and Pine Street
          •
      • Hotels and other fine lodging near the Snoqualmie Casino ...we are seeing a rise in limo services between casino shows and hotels by visitors ... and the performing celebrities as well.  A popular limo run here in the east side of King County is also the short run between the Salish Lodge & Spa at Snoqualmie Falls, and the and the Snoqualmie Casino. After that, the Hilton Garden Inn at Issaquah is probably second in popularity for a quality stay, followed by the Holiday Inn, also located at Issaquah.

      • Remember, dropping off a loved one or business associate in a limo most anywhere can make a more comfortable impression ... allowing you to more easily visit with them far more attentively in route, or at least send them on their way in style. Call us to get your quote.

Well, that is all I have time to type at the moment,
but more will be added as time allows and more people reserve a limo and driver for other surprising event ideas.  ;-)
